Selena Gomez has maintained a stoic silence since news of Mariah Yeater's paternity claim against her boyfriend broke, but Ellen DeGeneres forced her to comment on the situation during a recent talk show appearance. Unfortunately, it was less than enlightening. But she did talk about how he wears his pants! Somehow, Selena Gomez managed to make it through a flurry of public appearances without saying anything about the paternity scandal that threatened to take down her pop star boyfriend, Justin Bieber. But Ellen DeGeneres wasn't going to let the former Disney star get through a taping of her show without asking about the ordeal. Unfortunately, Ellen went super easy. "I have to ask before we begin talking about anything else... What a crazy last two weeks it's been in the news. You've been all right?" Ellen asked.
"I have been, yeah," Gomez replied."Everything's all good now. You knew that all along but it's nice to have everything out in the open now," Ellen nudged.Gomez, the picture of maturity beyond her years, nodded and said "Yeah, it's good to just kind of...be good," before admitting that it hasn't been easy dealing with the drama. It looks like Bieber and Gomez are in it for the long haul, as the couple that endures a paternity scandal together stays together. But then talk turned to Justin Bieber's pants. "I think you have influence, and I think you can tell him to pull his pants up," Ellen joked.
